Initial Phone Consultation

An initial phone call will be conducted to collect your child’s medical and developmental history. This allows us to best determine the next steps for you and your child. Initial phone consultations are 10-15 mins in length, obligation free and free of charge.

Initial Assessment

If your child has not previously been assessed by a speech pathologist, a comprehensive assessment is essential to ensure the correct treatment plan is formulated. Initial assessments will involve up to 90 minutes of face-to-face assessment with the child and include a comprehensive assessment report. Assessments are generally billed at 3 hours, however, the total rate for your child’s assessment will be quoted prior to your appointment.

Initial Assessment Session + Report for NDIS ECEI - $193.99 per hour

Initial Assessment Session + Report for Private - $170 per hour

Intervention

If an assessment reveals that your child will benefit from speech pathology intervention we will plan a block of evidence-based therapy to help your child meet his or her communication goals. Intervention sessions consist of 45 minutes face-to-face and 15 mins of non-contact admin time.

Intervention for NDIS Clients - $193.99

Intervention for Private Clients - $170

Travel

We are a mobile service based in Hobart. Travel fees are calculated from our office location based on the following rates:

NDIS Travel Fees - Charged at NDIS rate of $193.99 per hour or $16.17 per 5 mins

Private Travel Fees - 10-20 mins $20

- 20-30 mins $30

Travel fees will be quoted and agreed upon prior to the initial session.

Additional report/letter writing or phone calls to professionals

You may request NDIS progress reports or letters to your child’s GP or paediatrician at any time. Additionally you may request phone contact be made with other professionals on your child’s team. All additional admin is charged at an hourly rate, with a time estimate to be provided prior to completion of the service.

Additional Admin for Private clients - $170 per hour
