About Us
Hi Families, nice to meet you!
As the director and principal speech pathologist at Loud Mouth Speech Pathology, it is a pleasure to introduce myself. I am a certified practicing speech pathologist who specialises in working with infants and children in the preschool years. Since completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Speech Pathology at Griffith University, QLD in 2018, I have been employed primarily in the Private Practice sector and have worked across a wide range of practice areas including speech, language, stuttering, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), voice regulation, swallowing difficulties, infant feeding and alternative & augmentative communication (AAC).
My passion for working with young children has spanned many years and was the driving force for pursuing a career in speech pathology. Working as a team with families, carers and educators to ensure the individual child is able to make progress and meet their developmental goals is truly one of my greatest joys and the reason I do what I do. I am a strong advocate for family-centred care, believing that you are your child’s greatest teacher and providing you with clear and relevant tools to support your child on their journey of lifelong learning.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and have post-graduate training in a range of areas including infant feeding issues, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Key Word Sign, Speech Sound Disorders and literacy.
I look forward to meeting any and all families requiring support.
